These temporary buildings were supplied for use in oil refinery blast zone. They needed to be both robust and safe. They used a special heavy floor

Oil Refinery

We supplied a number of temporary buildings with soft-sided walls covers inside a blast zone at the Fawley Refinery in Hampshire.

The temporary buildings were specified for a number of different applications for the administrative staff and maintenance teams to enable them to carry out their work over a nine week period.

We literally built a self-contained village incorporating administrative offices, workshops, permit to work offices and welfare facilities for a team over nearly 1000 people.

Each of the temporary buildings were supplied using our ‘heavy-floor’ system which has a weight load capacity of 500kgs m² and which is designed to act as the base for the buildings to eliminate the need for pinning.
