Temporary Cruise Terminal
Following a two-year campaign to attract cruise vessels to Liverpool, Liverpool City Council redeveloped an unused plot adjacent to Pier Head, in front of the landmark Liver Building to construct a temporary cruise terminal for use as a turnaround facility for passengers embarking and disembarking on cruises at Liverpool.
Four weeks later, Liverpool welcomed its first ever turnaround cruise as the Ocean Countess set sail from the city
This was a momentous day for the city as the ship was given a huge civic send-off.
Temporary cruise liner terminal
We worked with Smartspace on a new Temporary Cruise Liner Terminal. The project was high profile and time critical.
Smartspace provided an excellent service in achieving what was a very challenging timetable for delivery and opening of the Building.
Smartspace fully understood what we as clients needed , and were responsive and helpful with assistance and providing solutions.
The quality of the building provided met our expectations fully. We hope to continue to work with Smartspace with this building over the next three years. I would have no hesitation recommending them further.
