Background
This International company has struggled to develop a full build extension for their premises as they were not able to have planning permission passed.This was due to the massive powerlines and water pipes that run underneath their site, meaning that no digging was allowed.
Solution
Smart-Space installed a temporary 7.5m x 7.5m and 3.4 to the eaves building with a PVC roof and insulated composite walls. This building was completed within 6 weeks at their Milton Keynes site.
We provided Managing Director Edward James with a number of options having understood what the company's business needs were.
We recommended our groundworks contractor B&M work on the sloping base to make the ground level. They also extended the car park to improve the overall space and appearance of their site.
The weatherproofed storage area is more easily accessible for both suppliers and customers. It also expands the yard storage area and significantly reduces the amount of movement on-site associated with collections and deliveries.
