Project Outline
We were approached by Gusbourne Estate of Appledore In Kent, as they were looking to create a cover for a brand new wine press, they had invested heavily in – urgently! We received the initial call on Friday 4th October 2013, and the following Friday – the 11th, we were on site to install the building!
Solution - 5mtr x 7.5mtr x 5.4mtr Temporary Building
We supplied a brand new temporary building which we manufactured out of new components in just three days.
“I took the initial call myself at around 3.30pm on the Friday afternoon, and sent the quote over right away. Within an hour, I had a call back from Ben Walgate of Gusbourne Estate to say they wanted to go ahead, and needed it - now!
Due to time constraints for a site survey, we were emailed pictures of the area and we began fabrication and picking of the parts on Monday morning. Our 4-man installation team then set off from our Tamworth base to drive to Appledore at 5am on the Friday morning.
By 6pm on the Friday evening, the temporary building was installed to completion, with just the roller door to be fitted.
Our roller shutter door supplier, Norton Doors of Birmingham, supplied and fitted a brand new roller shutter door on the Saturday (12th Oct) and by the time they were ready to start picking the grape harvest on Monday 14th October, the temporary building was completed.
