Tennant Group, a leading manufacturer in the chemical industry, faced a pressing need to expand its operations after their facility at the Dundee docks was due to close.

With production of Ferric Sulphate integral to their business, the company needed a new, purpose-built plant to continue operations seamlessly.

This project presented several challenges. The land chosen for the new plant in Blantyre was essentially wasteland, which meant that all infrastructure and construction had to be developed from scratch.

The building needed to be robust, spacious, and adaptable to support the heavy industrial equipment, and withstand the challenging Scottish climate, which includes heavy snow loading and strong winds.
