New building installed whilst production continues
If every minute is vital, and you can’t halt production for a moment, how do you go about having a new building built, whilst your production continues?
It’s a tricky one, and yet that is precisely the challenge we faced with a new undersea pipe line production facility on the Cromarty Firth in Rosshire, North Scotland, recently.

The production line of the pipework continued to run throughout the entire build, which meant our installation team had to install the buildings whilst production continued.

As you can see, this was a bit of a ‘Challenge Anneka’ affair, and with very, very stringent Health And Safety regulations; it’s even more impressive to think that this entire 8,400sq ft facility was built whilst production of the undersea pipes continued.
