How did you come about working for Smart-Space?
Previously, James had been a Steel Erector for a Steel Fabricator company for 11 years, so brought a wealth of experience in working with steel. James was recommended to Smart-Space by his friend Brian who runs the groundworks company used by us. Our Contracts Manger Andy Freeman offered James an opportunity with us.
What qualities does James bring to Smart-Space?
James has a number of qualities; however, he feels that his best assets are that he is happy, fun and down to earth. James loves and enjoys all aspects of his role, and he really enjoys working with his team to deliver a great customer experience and quality of work. He especially likes how every day at Smart-Space is different, the challenges are all diverse, and that keeps him his toes.
James Yates leads a Smart-Space Installation Team James believes that motivating his team and dealing with customers using his enthusiasm is key and most important.
