Renting a temporary building gives you the flexibility of acquiring valuable business space as and when you need it – quickly and cost-effectively. The other advantage (compared to buying) is, renting involves no capital outlay and also takes any on-going maintenance headaches away.

We reflect this ease and convenience in our approach to rental contracts. Some contract agreements are so complex and contain so many clauses you would need to be a lawyer to understand them properly! You’re busy and so are we, so we prefer to keep things simple and transparent.

So whether you need your building for six months or six years, doesn’t matter with our flexible terms because you simply pay as you go and don’t need to keep the building for a day longer than you want it. Like you, we think; why should you be paying for a service you no longer want or need?

This is how it works when you hire a temporary building from Smart-Space.

No Up Front Payments

Pay us when your building is installed and you are happy with it, not before. At Smart-Space we don’t charge an upfront consultation fee, survey charge or any kind of arrangement fee. We will install your building, then you simply pay the monthly rentals, in arrears.

No Minimum Rental Periods

Some suppliers impose a minimum rental period of, for example, 3 or 6 months. Even if you only need a building for a few weeks, you could still be charged for a minimum pre-determined period. We don’t think this is fair. Our rental agreements are determined by the needs of your business. Rent a building for as little or long as you need it. Whether that turns out to be a few weeks, months or even several years. You are under no obligation to fulfil a minimum contract period.

No Pre-Determined Rental Periods

Pre-determined rental periods are common. Some suppliers may have offered you a lease for 12 months, 24 months or 72 months, for instance? The problem with applying this to temporary buildings is that needs change. If you only need a temporary warehouse to see you through a sales boom over Christmas, will you still need it in 6 or 12 months? Maybe, maybe not. We give you the flexibility to choose your own rental period. You don’t have to do this in advance – just keep the building for as long as it suits you.

Just 7 Days Termination Notice Needed

There is nothing worse than being tied into a lengthy contract termination period because you end up paying for what you don’t need. We request just 7 days’ notice to terminate your rental agreement. Simply let us know in writing when you no longer need your building. We will confirm and send out a team to dismantle your building. Your rentals will terminate 7 days after you confirm you no longer need it.
